Movement of the Week // The Inverted Bar Row

by Nicole Zapoli

This week on the <<>> BLOG <<>> I am sharing a few coaching and training tips on the inverted bar row! No matter your goals, level of strict upper body strength, or fitness level, training the inverted bar row is an essential movement to building a balanced, healthy, and strong upper half as well as lat and trunk strength, and beyond!

FOCUS:

Set feet on the floor or elevated onto a box or bench, pending your ability level

Maintain your tight hollow position

The goal is to have your body set as close to parallel to the floor as possible at the top of your pull

To modify just walk your feet back as needed

Body position should aim to maintain hollow no matter what variation you do
